Privacy notice

Last updated: 21 October 2026

This notice covers the public website at infovative.biz, run by Infovative, a software company based in Wrocław, Poland. It explains what this site learns about you, why, and what you may ask us to do with it. It does not describe the handbook product itself; customers receive separate written terms for that.

What the site collects

Browsing these pages asks nothing of you. The only point at which we receive personal details is the walk-through request form. It asks for your name, a work email address, your organisation, two short choices about where your documents are kept and how much there is, and whatever you type in the message box. Those details serve a single end, which is answering you, fixing a time for the walk-through and getting ready for it. The legal ground is our legitimate interest in answering a request you started, and the steps you ask us to take before any agreement.

Between the form and our inbox sits an outside relay that converts the submitted fields into an email; it handles them only for as long as that conversion takes. Requests are kept in that mailbox for as long as a conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you write again; after that they are deleted.

Cookies and the consent card

On a first visit a corner card in the binder margin asks how you feel about cookies. Your answer becomes one local-storage entry in this browser, called inv_cookie_pref, and its only job is stopping the card from reappearing. No script on infovative.biz consults it at present. Visitor counters, ad tags and similar trackers are absent from the build, and the pages write no cookies themselves. If that ever changes, nothing in those categories would run unless you had accepted it, and this notice would be revised first. The typefaces are fetched from a public font service, which receives the technical details any web request carries.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell personal information, rent it out or swap it with anyone. Apart from the form relay and our email provider, which handle messages on our behalf, nobody else receives what you send.

Your rights

Readers inside the EU or the broader European Economic Area may, under the GDPR, ask for access to what we hold about you, correction of anything wrong, deletion, a portable copy, and to object to our use of it; you may also complain to the data-protection supervisory authority in Poland or where you live. Californian residents hold comparable rights under the CCPA: knowing which details were gathered and for what reason, getting them erased, refusing a sale (a refusal with nothing to bite on, since no sale happens), and suffering no worse treatment for having asked.

Every one of these requests starts the same way: an email to [email protected]. We will confirm who you are in a proportionate way and answer within the period the law gives us.

Changes

If this notice is revised, the new wording replaces this one on this page with a new date at the top.
